The Bells at Temple Square present “Ring Out with Joy” The Bells at Temple Square invite the public to celebrate the joy of the holiday season with "Ring Out with Joy", on November 20–21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square. Under the direction of Bells Conductor Geoff Anderson and Associate Conductor Mat Ulmer, the 33-member handbell ensemble will present an engaging program that blends beloved hymns, seasonal favorites, and lively musical selections. Audiences can look forward to an evening filled with the beauty, artistry, and joyful sounds of the season. The concert repertoire will include a variety of musical styles, from the stirring rhythms of Lord of the Dance (Simple Gifts) and the beloved hymn Fairest Lord Jesus to the festive sounds of Christmas Bells Are Ringing, The Holly and the Ivy, and Carol of the Birds. The program will also feature the playful Spanish Christmas carol Los Peces en el Río along with holiday favorites A Holly Jolly Christmas and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. The evening will conclude with the energetic crowd favorite Wizards in Winter. Adding to the musical experience, Tabernacle Organists Linda Margetts and Joseph Peeples will be featured on the famed Tabernacle organ. Though admission is free, tickets are required and open to those eight years of age and older.
